How Fat Panda — your lazy-but-clever panda companion for saving money through micro-quests and Panda Points — handles information. Short version: we keep it minimal, we don't track you, and we never profile you across other apps.

Fat Panda is built around a simple idea: turning everyday budgeting into a light game of micro-quests, Panda Points and mindful spending. That idea also shapes how we treat data — we ask for as little as possible and we do not follow you around the internet. By installing or using the application, you confirm that you understand the practices described here.

03Information We Collect

In keeping with the data-minimization principle of the GDPR, we process only the limited technical information that is genuinely needed to run the application. This can include:

  • device type and hardware characteristics;
  • operating system version;
  • application version;
  • language settings;
  • anonymized diagnostic data and crash logs used to keep the service stable.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you explicitly switch on a feature that requires it. No tracking: Fat Panda contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers and no cross-app or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not build profiles of you across applications or websites operated by other companies, and we do not collect or store your precise location data.

Non-personal, aggregate information (such as overall device type distribution, OS versions, app versions, language settings and crash reports) may also be processed to operate and improve the service.

In plain terms: the panda does not follow you home. No location tracking, no advertising ID, no behavioral profiling — just the technical signals required to keep the app working.

04How We Use Information

The limited information we process is used for the following purposes:

  • to deliver, operate and maintain the Fat Panda application;
  • to answer support requests and communicate with you about them;
  • to monitor reliability, prevent misuse and improve performance;
  • to meet legal obligations and the requirements set by distribution platforms.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to serve you personalized advertising across other apps or websites.

05Sharing of Information

We may engage third-party companies or individuals to help us run the service — for example, to provide the service on our behalf, carry out service-related tasks, or help us understand how the service is used. Such providers receive access to information only to the extent necessary to perform those tasks for us, and they are bound not to disclose it or use it for any other purpose.

Because Fat Panda currently relies on no third-party services for advertising or tracking, no data is shared for those purposes.

That said, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

08Children's Privacy

Fat Panda is not directed at anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children below that age. 10Google Play Disclosure

Fat Panda is distributed through Google Play. Our data practices are designed to align with the Google Play Developer Program Policies and the Google Play User Data Policy, including transparent disclosure of what data is collected, how it is used and how it is shared. You can find more information about your choices directly in the Google Play listing for the application.

11Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date shown above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically so that you remain aware of any changes.
